We started with a blank slate and developed our farm as one of the first organic farms dedicated to making hay specifically for horses.

Making a Home / Building a Life
While perfecting the art and science of hay for horses, we have built a life for ourselves and our loved ones. Over the past 15 years we have raised our family here, bred horses, and raised chickens, ducks and pigs. Countless cats and dogs and one lost goat have joined us, making our home… their home. We are blessed to have several deer and seven bears – moms and cubs – wander the land, foraging and playing. The wildlife is as much a part of the landscape as we are, and we enjoy sharing this land with them.
A beautiful and tranquil place. From our farmhouse we have views of the majestic Coast Mountains lined with tall fir and cedar trees and capped with snow and glaciers. In the evenings when the work is done, you can often find us with our feet up listening to the symphony of birds and coyotes.
Our Community
Pemberton is a fertile valley – surrounded by forests and mountains – carved out by glaciers over one million years ago. Just around the corner you can find ample natural sites and parks, including the gorgeous Joffre Lakes and Keyhole Hot Springs. Pemberton is a small community with a long history of farming, you will always find a friendly face if you need a hand. As farming practices develop, Pemberton has become a centre for organic farming and we are proud to be part of that legacy.

All our hay is the most nutritious product grown for each season/cut and always has the same level of quality control. Guaranteed. If we don’t like it, we compost it and recycle it back into the fields to help next year’s crop!
